Merdahn.com Photography is based on the works of Cynthia Veekens. A recently graduated documentary photographer from the Netherlands.

Her works contain mostly black and white photography with a raw, straight to the edge point to it. She seeks out the places where other people do not wish to go to or what people do not see. She tends to look for the 'underdogs' of society and with her passion for her profession she just crawls in and knows how to touch the viewers eye.

Hey main motto;'To See Beyond the Eyes', is well ment in that context. Look further then your eyes grant you to look and see behind the limits of your own perception.

You are saying this perfectly...
Most of the time photographers take like, 10 or 20 pictures of the horse in 'hyperspeed' with their camera before and after the jump so they'll have the perfect picture. I CAN do that too but I do not want to. I'm a fanatic horserider too (jumping and dressage) and I know when to shoot because I know the steps and the counts they make :)
